Game team are a dedicated trio of avid and experienced LARPers who are responsible for writing and running this game. We also act as referees in the field, keeping an eye on combat encounters to make sure everyone is safe, and watching over any rituals or mad schemes the players may want to enact. We're here to facilitate your game, so please do speak to us if you have any questions about the event. We can help point you in the right direction if you're feeling lost or not sure what to do.
At least one member of Game team will always be in the main camp, please do interrupt us if you need something even if we're in the middle of conversation. We're also here to make sure you feel safe and comfortable out of character, if at any point you do not feel safe or comfortable please speak to us.
Eorl of Scardeburgh
Jimmy is the boss, and we like to let him believe he's in charge even when we go rogue. He wrote this entire game setting during a lunch break at work, and is responsible for much of the setting and lore used in our events, as well as improving the site for us by hacking at undergrowth and building caves. Thanks Jimmy!
Jimmy plays Eorl Bananson, who loves druids, druid rites, and caves.
Druid
Natt is an actual plot and prop wizard and has probably created most of the props you'll encounter in Witan LARP. We don't know why he keeps writing himself NPCs who have 'being a dick' as a character trait, but we don't deny him doing what he loves. Natt is known for going rogue along with Chaz when it comes to rituals, but it's always 100% his fault and Chaz cannot be blamed.
Natt plays the druid Ruadhán, who is definitely fine and not broken at all. Ask him about his eel wand.
Adviser to Eorl Bananson
Chaz has never written or run a LARP before, so doesn't really know what she's doing. Her specialities are building websites and writing about herself in the third person, as well as gentle-parenting Natt and Jimmy through their more elaborate schemes. She will take any opportunity to write genuinely disturbing folk-horror elements into the game, and there's so much opportunity.
Chaz plays Aoife, who is unreasonably nice, kind to small animals, and genuinely caring for the people of the Witan. Yuck.
